Anker SOLIX F1500

I spent three weeks comparing power stations before buying and the SOLIX F1500 offered the best combination of output power and price. At $999 versus $1,599 for the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max, the $600 savings was significant. I'm a contractor and use this for power tools on sites without electricity — it handles my circular saw, drill, and angle grinder simultaneously without issue. The 1500W solar input means I can charge it while working outdoors. My only complaint is no expandable battery option. Anker customer service helped me with an app issue immediately over chat — that support quality earns loyalty.

I bought this for camping and initially it seemed perfect. One night out, it's completely fine. By the second camping trip I was running three nights and drained it completely by night two running a fridge, fan, and charging devices. I realized I needed more capacity. With EcoFlow or Jackery, I could add a battery module. With the SOLIX, I'd need to buy a whole new unit. If I had researched this limitation before purchase I might have spent more upfront for an expandable system. For one-night camping and emergency home backup it's excellent. For anything longer or more demanding, plan for what you might need in two years.
