Recurring Issues

Common problems reported by multiple verified buyers

Micro-USB Charging Port

67 mentions

In 2024, using micro-USB instead of USB-C is a significant criticism. Competitors like the Razer DeathAdder V3 use USB-C. Micro-USB is fragile over time and less universally available.

Single Side Button Per Side

49 mentions

Players accustomed to two side buttons (common on gaming mice) find the single side button limiting for binding push-to-talk and in-game abilities simultaneously.

No Onboard Memory

31 mentions

G Hub software settings are not stored on the mouse itself. DPI settings revert to defaults if you use the mouse on a PC without G Hub installed, affecting LAN tournament use.

My aim improved immediately — this mouse is special

Pros

  • +HERO 2 sensor tracking is flawless — zero jitter or deviation
  • +Weight reduction genuinely reduces arm fatigue in long sessions
  • +LIGHTSPEED is truly indistinguishable from wired

Cons

  • -Micro-USB is inexcusable in 2024
  • -One side button is limiting

I've played FPS games competitively for 8 years and gone through a lot of mice. The Superlight 2 is the best gaming mouse I've ever used. The sensor is genuinely perfect — I've done sensor testing and found zero anomalies, no jitter, no prediction. The 60g weight means my arm recovers faster between sessions and I can play longer without tendinitis flare-ups. The wireless performance through LIGHTSPEED is imperceptible from wired — I've done blind tests with friends and nobody could tell the difference. Micro-USB in 2024 is the only thing holding this back from a perfect score.

Incredible performance mouse, too plain for my taste

Verified
By Jake M.Owned 5 monthsintermediate user2025-12-28

Pros

  • +Absolute best wireless gaming mouse for performance
  • +Ultra-light design is genuinely noticeable
  • +Click feel is satisfying and consistent

Cons

  • -All-white or all-black look bores me
  • -No RGB means it stands out wrong in my setup

Performance-wise I have zero complaints — this mouse is exactly what esports mice should be. The sensor is flawless, the weight is impressively light, and I've had no connectivity issues over five months. My hesitation is purely aesthetic. I have an RGB setup and a plain white mouse looks oddly out of place. The Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro looks better in my opinion and also performs excellently. If you don't care about aesthetics, the Superlight 2 is probably the optimal choice. If your setup matters to you visually, consider alternatives.

Switched from DeathAdder — the weight difference is real

Verified
By Tyler K.Owned 3 monthsexpert user2026-01-31

Pros

  • +Lighter than I thought possible without feeling cheap
  • +PTFE feet glide on any pad perfectly
  • +No scroll wheel wobble or rattle

Cons

  • -Wish it had USB-C
  • -G Hub software is occasionally finicky on updates

I switched from a DeathAdder V3 and the weight difference — 59g vs 95g — is immediately palpable. After a few days it becomes hard to pick up a heavier mouse without noticing. My micro-corrections in Valorant and Apex became faster and more reliable almost immediately after switching. The zero-additive PTFE feet are the best glide I've experienced on any surface. I use it on a Artisan Zero Soft and the feel is perfect. If you're a competitive FPS player, the extra investment over budget mice is completely worth it.
