Burst Sonic Toothbrush

At my last dental checkup, my hygienist asked unprompted what toothbrush I'd switched to because my gum health had improved. I've had sensitive gums for years and the Burst's soft charcoal bristles with the Sensitive mode have made a real difference. The auto-delivery subscription means I never use an old brush head — new ones arrive every 3 months exactly. The whitening is real but modest — two shades perhaps, not the before/after ads. For gum health, it's exceptional.

The toothbrush is fine — I have no hardware complaints. But the subscription is a trap. When I tried to cancel online, the portal said I couldn't and to call. I called and they put me on hold for 45 minutes, then offered discounts to stay. I called back, same experience. On my third call I finally got it cancelled, but by then they had already charged me for a second shipment I tried to cancel. I disputed the charge with my bank. Great product, predatory business model.

We switched all four family members to Burst two years ago. Both our dentist cleanings have been consistently better — less plaque buildup and healthier gum readings at every visit. The quarterly subscription sends the right number of replacement heads for our family. Our kids (7 and 10) have no objections to using it, which is a win for any product in this category. Two years in, all four brushes work perfectly. No mechanical issues. I'll keep buying them.
