Razer Blade 16

I'm a game developer who needs serious GPU performance but also takes client meetings. The Razer Blade 16 is the only laptop that covers both use cases without compromise. The RTX 4090 runs Unreal Engine 5 projects I couldn't handle on any other laptop. The dual-mode display is genuinely useful: 4K OLED for my asset work, 240Hz for testing game performance. Yes, it costs a month's rent. Yes, it gets warm. But there's nothing else like it.

Everything about this laptop is premium except the battery life, which is catastrophically poor. I get about 2.5 hours of actual gaming before it dies. Even watching YouTube in power-save mode, it barely hits 5 hours. I essentially use it as a desktop with a built-in screen, always plugged in. The ASUS ROG G16 has similar performance for $700 less. I love this machine but I overpaid for the Razer logo. If you're always near an outlet, fantastic. Otherwise, reconsider.

I'm an ML researcher and bought this specifically for local model inference and fine-tuning. The RTX 4090 with 16GB VRAM handles 13B parameter models comfortably and can run 70B models with quantization. It's the most powerful mobile AI workstation available. I also use it to unwind gaming in the evenings. The fans run continuously during inference sessions, which is expected. For combined AI research and gaming, there's no better option at any price.
